This song was popular in the summer of 1978 (that summer's silk screen t-shirt was a very elegant reindeer flying backwards; and, it can now be revealed, the very graphic depiction of a dead raindeer that appeared on the backstop one morning that summer was the fine handiwork of the clever and talented first-year tzevet)
