The Plague of '64
To the tune of Doe, a deer, a female deer
Take a dog, a red hot dog,
add some nice kidney beans,
then some salad nice and crisp,
then some bug juice nice and green,
Serve it all on dirty plates,
Run for your food-don't be late,
Won't it be so very quaint,
When you BLEECH all over the floor?
Another song to remember:
Have a paper bag says Bea,
Have a paper bag, says Bea,
Have a pa-per bag, says Bea.
Have a little Donagel,
Etc.
Bea was the nurse and Donagel is what she gave us.... Explanation: Saturday nite dinners were traditionally dogs and beans. This time, something went wrong and 95% of the camp was throwing up the next day. Oh yes, for a week, there was no outgoing mail - some technical problem or other.....
