When the meal is in the seventh course,
And hamburgers lie with peas,
Then pieces of this vegetable,
Is a-a-a-a-all that you can eat.
This is the dining of the age of asparagus,

Quality through irrigation,
Vitamins to build the nation.
Look upon the situation,
great green fields of vegetation,
An asparagus plantation,
Now Quebec wants separation.
