A reception will be held following the program.

SATURDAY JUNE 8th, 2002

Picnic in Central Park: 11:30am-3pm

This "bring your own lunch and picnic blanket" picnic is a family-friendly event - so bring the kids, the grandkids, your nieces and nephews...the whole mishpacha! There will be frisbee, games and face-painting for the kids, and lots of time to relax and socialize with old friends.

We will be meeting at Columbus Circle (59th Street entrance on the West side) at 11:30am. Going to be late? That's OK. Come join us anytime between 11:30 and 3pm by entering the park at the Columbus Circle entrance next to the statue, and following the road (and the balloons and signs) to the grassy area next to the big rock on the right hand side of the path. We will be near the Heckscher playground, where Camp Galil used to hold its annual reunion. If it is a rainy day, the program will be cancelled.

Kumsitz: 6pm- midnight (Dinner 6pm; Kumsitz 7pm)

The annual kumsitz will be held again this year at Congregation Ansche Chesed, 251 W. 100th Street between West End Ave. and Broadway. Come at 6pm if you would like to join us for a vegetarian dinner, or at 7pm for the kumsitz only.

There will be Israeli dancing with one of New York's premiere dance leaders, Habonim alumna Tamar Paradise Yablonski. The evening will also include havdalah, kumsitz, makhela, catching up, and all manner of merrymaking. This event is open to Bonim-age individuals and up.

The cost is:
$20: Vegetarian dinner & Kumsitz (w/reservation)
$16: Vegetarian dinner & Kumsitz (student w/reservation)
$10: Kumsitz only (w/reservation)
$8: Kumsitz only (student w/reservation)

How much at the door? $12: Kumsitz only (students and non-students)

Dinner is by reservation only.
Snacks and soft drinks will be served, but feel free to bring your own wine.

If you plan to attend both the kumsitz and the Workshop anniversary program - which we hope many of you do - these package rates apply (available in advance only).

$30 non-student w/dinner, $20 non-student w/out dinner.
$21 student w/dinner, $15 student w/out dinner.

To make advance reservations, please print out and mail in our RSVP form.
